SHEPERDS PIE...BRISKET style!

Needed to whip up a quick dinner for the family.  Had leftover brisket from the weekend.  HHmmm... we ALWAYS do BRISKET QUESADILLAS with the leftovers.  Figured I would make BRISKET SHEPERDS PIE!!

SO, quick n' easy.  That is, after you've spent 14 hours smokin' a brisket!!





Diced up the brisket..I did NOT USE THE BURNT ENDS!!
Yes, I know, you are asking, 'HOW IN THE H#LL can you have LEFTOVER BURNT ENDS!!??"  Anyway... diced the brisket.
Diced and lightly 'sauced'

Peeled and Boiled some SPUDS ..while they were boiling, I cut some carrots and gave them a HOT BATH in a colander (same pot as spuds) until they softened.  

Removed the carrots...gave some frozen corn a 2 minute bath...

SPUDS READY...added some HEAVY CREAM, BUTTER, SOUR CREAM, SALT/PEPPER, and a few drops of GARLIC JUICE from the bottle.

some of that 'healthy' stuff

ready for oven



PUT IN OVEN AT 350.....30 minutes later....DONE!!!




I ONLY WISH I had some JALAPENO JACK CHEESE to melt on top.... shredded MONTEREY CHEDDAR will have to do!!

You KNOW it's good when an 8 year old girl says, "OH MY GOSH, Dad, this is SOOO good!!"
